Cool boys clothes: shopping "partners"

Your guy gets up early in the morning with big plans. He's making big roads down the hallway; he's creating a big dramatic play for you under the dining room table. He's still in his pajamas. The situation is this fella only likes one outfit, and it's in the laundry. Drastic times call for drastic measures! Well, maybe not so drastic. Maybe get the boy some yogurt and toast first and then the two of you can hunker down in front of the computer, and he can help pick out some reasonably priced cool boys clothes. That way, when story time starts at the library again, you won't have the battle and the tears over the same brown corduroy pants and the same yellow dump truck shirt. You can shop for new, cool kids clothes in your favorite kids clothing store with your li'l pardner so he'll feel like he made all of the important decisions. Soon he'll be wearing an actual variety of clothes, and they'll be clean!

Children get attached. It's just the lay of the land. Sometimes they get attached to blankets or stuffed pandas, and other times they get attached to unfortunate things like your old sock or the kitchen chair cushion. You wish they would get attached to flushing the toilet or washing their hands. All in good time. If they happen to have a great affinity for cool kids clothes, you're in luck.
